Riverina Diggers › Tipper Truck hire
Car licence · from $350 a day
A tipper you can legally drive on a normal car licence. Shift your own spoil, green waste, gravel or demolition rubbish — and skip the bin sitting on your nature strip for a fortnight.

| Hire | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 day | $350 | 8 hours, extra hours $35 |
| Weekend | $600 | Saturday and Sunday |
| 1 week | $1750 | Best value on longer jobs |
Delivery is free on hires of three days or more within 30km of Griffith. Shorter hires and jobs further out are quoted from a $90 base plus $2.20 per km. A $500 bond applies and comes back once the gear is checked over.
This is the part most people don't realise: the tipper drives on an ordinary NSW car licence. No HR, no LR, no special endorsement. If you can drive a car, you can drive this and tip your own loads.
That changes the maths on a lot of jobs. Instead of booking a skip bin, waiting for the drop-off, filling it, then waiting again for collection, you cart it yourself the moment it's dug and you're done when you're done.
A skip sits on your nature strip or driveway for days and charges you whether it's full or not. If your job produces more than one bin worth of material — a slab out, a shed pad, a load of green waste after a clean-up — carting it yourself in one hire usually costs less and takes less calendar time.
You do need somewhere legal to tip. Griffith City Council's waste facility takes most of it; check their gate fees and hours before you load up.
The pairing that gets used most: excavator plus tipper in the same hire. Dig, load, cart, come back, keep digging. One booking, one delivery, no waiting on anyone else's truck.
If you're doing a demolition, add the concrete saw — cut the slab, break it out with the excavator, load it into the tipper, gone in one go.

No. It drives on a normal car licence — no truck licence, nothing special. That's the whole point of this truck.
$350 for a day, $600 for a weekend, $1,750 for a week. A $500 bond applies and is returned once the truck is checked over.
Griffith City Council's waste facility takes most household and construction material. Gate fees and accepted material are set by the council, so check before you load — tip fees aren't included in the hire.
Yes, and it's the most common booking we do. Dig and cart in the same hire, one delivery, one pick-up.
